The Homo Sapiens Carbon Abyssus represents the second chapter of a collection born from the desire to unite aesthetics and innovation through the use of cutting-edge materials.
While the first edition celebrated golden reflections immersed in forged carbon, this creation pushes the boundaries of research even further, transforming matter into a perfect expression of strength and lightness without neglecting elegance.
The barrel retains its signature double reservoir construction, enhanced by a central transparent acrylic ring that allows the ink level to be admired even when the pen is closed. A technical detail that, at the same time, becomes a distinctive design feature.
To achieve extreme lightness, every metal component has been reimagined: the titanium of the first Carbon MoirƩ gives way to Ergal, a special aluminum-based alloy used in aerospace engineering, renowned for its exceptional mechanical strength. The result is a perfect balance between solidity and writing comfort.
The carbon itself has also evolved: thanks to even more sophisticated manufacturing techniques, the fibers are denser, creating a stronger and more uniform surface. But it is the introduction of anodized blue aluminum alloy foil that radically transforms the modelās aesthetics. Among the carbon veins, iridescent reflections emerge, evoking the depth of a nocturnal ocean.
In harmony with these chromatic vibrations, all Ergal metal parts undergo a deep-blue anodization process.
